Weber Medical
Weber Medical GmbH was established in 2003 after many years of research and development in medical laser therapy, and has quickly become one of the world's leading companies in the field. In addition to developing new devices, Dr. Michael Weber operates treatment centers in Germany and Thailand.
Webneedle® Compact
With financial support from the German government and the EU, in 2004 Dr. Michael Weber developed one of the world's first multi-channel laser systems for external pain management, the Weberneedle® Compact.
Webneedle® Endo
Shortly followed the development and approval of another multi-channel laser system for invasive laser therapy, Weberneedle® Endo, which delivers laser light to deep tissue layers, joints and blood flow.
Photodynamic Therapy
Besides regenerative therapy and pain management, Weber Medical's devices are mainly used for photodynamic therapy (PDT) in the treatment of almost all types of cancer. With the development of an injectable liposomal indocyanine green infusion, Weber Medical has recently opened a new dimension in PDT, which provides strong photodynamic effects in combination with deep infiltrating infrared lasers.
ISLAND
Aiming to build a global network for distribution, research and education, the company founded the International Society for Medical Laser Applications (ISLA) in 2006.
Training
Weber Medical offers further training in medical laser therapy. ISLA organizes international seminars and conferences regularly, with practical workshops that emphasize putting theory into practice.
Vision
The company's main priority is an integrated concept: the combination of research, development, education and service-friendly distribution under one roof.
