mPulse "3 in 1" infrared saunas are a research-based sauna series. Infrared radiation is harmless and the most health-promoting part of the radiation from the sun. Near infrared (NIR + - 750 nm – 1400 nm)
Near infrared (NIR) is the shortest infrared wavelength. Scientific research shows that NIR promotes skin renewal, cell health, wound healing and tissue growth when delivered at the vital wavelength of 880 nm, without extreme heat or light. LEDs are effective because they can trigger a natural photochemical reaction, similar to how plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into plant tissue. When the wave is pulsating, it can reach deeper into the tissue. mPulse saunas got their name because the LED pulsation provides significant health benefits.
Medium infrared (MIR + - 1500 nm – 3000 nm)
Medium infrared (MIR) is a longer wavelength that i.a. acts on the body's soft tissues where inflammation occurs and thus accelerates the healing process. To produce MIR, the sauna heater must have a surface temperature of 250 °C. Although many sauna companies claim to provide full spectrum, the material used in the heaters melts at the high temperature required to emit MIR. Sunlighten has worked with engineers and scientists, which led to the development of a high-tech solo carbon material that can withstand the surface temperature necessary to obtain an optimal health effect.
Far infrared (FIR + - 3000 nm – 10,000 nm)
The longest wavelength, called far infrared (FIR), reaches deep into the body, where toxins are stored. FIR has a deeply acting energetic heat effect which, among other things, is due to the water in the body being heated and given a more optimal structure. Sunlighten has the most efficient far infrared heating system with their efficient Solokarbon heating coating. Instead of being fused between layers, the coating is on the outside of the heating panel. During the development process, we found that this program provides 99% effectiveness, so to speak, without loss of effectiveness.

The three heating mechanisms in our full-spectrum heaters can operate independently. You can program them to use a combination of NIR, MIR and FIR heat. Research and reviews of infrared technology and health effects
The health magazine science and reason (vof.no) no. 6, year 2017 has two articles on infrared therapy and there will be more in no. 7 and 8/2017 and 1/2018. We have allowed ourselves to refer freely, some sentences from the articles which are research-based and documented.
ME - myalgic encephalomyelitis/encephalopathy - CFS - chronic fatigue
"It has been documented that two ME patients (chronic fatigue syndrome) got much better after infrared sauna treatment. In addition to the aforementioned ME study, four other studies have looked at the effects of far infrared radiation on various pain conditions". Key word form (not quote): All 17+17 patients felt less exhausted. In another study of 22 people with chronic pain, the pain was reduced in both groups and they felt less exhausted.
General information about near infrared and full spectrum infrared therapy
This type of treatment is promising for a number of disease states and as preventive therapy as can be seen from all the effects mentioned above. NASA (the American space agency) has had success in a number of areas with LED and heat-based infrared light, including cancer and pain treatment
Note! Hyperthermia treatment, where the temperature of the body or body areas is increased to around 40 degrees (or more in local tissue) Celsius, should not be carried out without monitoring and supervision by healthcare personnel. You can of course pre-heat the sauna and get as good and warm as a normal sauna, increased regularly to get both a high heat effect and the health-giving infrared rays. Remember to drink enough clean water, add some Real Salt and minerals (recommended ReMag and ReMyte).
Next generation treatment systems can be expected to include infrared therapy as a minimum!
