🛡️ Ergo-Thione+ – Next generation liposomal antioxidant supplement
Ergo-Thione+ is an advanced liposomal dietary supplement developed to support the cells' natural defense against oxidative stress, contribute to healthy aging and maintain general vitality. The product combines four carefully selected antioxidants - L-ergothioneine, glutathione, vitamin C and selenium - delivered in Quicksilver Scientific's patented liposomal technology that provides high bioavailability and rapid absorption via the oral mucosa. The formulation has been developed to work in conjunction with the body's own antioxidant network and support normal physiological processes related to energy turnover, immune function and cellular resilience in a modern and active lifestyle.
Ergothioneine is a sulfur-containing amino acid derivative that occurs naturally in fungi and some plants. The human body has its own specific transport proteins (OCTN1) for ergothioneine, which means that the substance can be taken up efficiently and concentrated in tissues with high metabolic activity and an increased need for protection. Together with glutathione, vitamin C and selenium, Ergo-Thione+ forms a holistic, adaptive and long-term supportive antioxidant complex.
Health benefits
Ergo-Thione+ supports the body's normal functions through ingredients with approved health claims from EFSA:
-
Vitamin C helps protect cells against oxidative stress
-
Vitamin C contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system
-
Vitamin C helps to reduce fatigue and exhaustion
-
Vitamin C contributes to normal energy metabolism
-
Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of skin, blood vessels, cartilage, bones, teeth and gums
-
Vitamin C helps to regenerate the reduced form of vitamin E
-
Vitamin C contributes to increased absorption of iron
-
Selenium helps to protect cells against oxidative stress
-
Selenium contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system
-
Selenium contributes to normal thyroid function
-
Selenium contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and normal nails
-
Selenium contributes to normal spermatogenesis
In addition, the combination of the ingredients can support the body's natural detoxification processes, mitochondrial function and general cellular balance through known biochemical mechanisms, without this implying medical claims.
Top 2 main features
-
Protection against oxidative stress and support for the immune system
Ergothioneine, glutathione, vitamin C and selenium work together in the body's antioxidant network and help to neutralize free radicals and protect cell structures. -
Support for cellular energy and natural detox processes
Glutathione and ergothioneine play central roles in the body's own detoxification and maintenance mechanisms and can support normal mitochondrial function and energy production.
Lesser known but interesting effect
Recent research indicates that ergothioneine can affect cellular signaling pathways linked to stress response and maintenance of cells, including via NRF2-related mechanisms. This has led to the substance being referred to in the research literature as a possible long-term antioxidant nutrient, without this implying medical claims.
