This mixture of vitamin C (such as sodium case bat) with R-lipoenic acid (as R-natrium lipoate) improves the body's antioxidant status and self-production of glutation. Vitamin C neutralizes free radicals, counteracts rancidity (oxidation) of fats in the cell membranes, and helps to regenerate other necessary antioxidants such as vitamin E and glutation.
