Description: Artemisinin is a plant molecule that a Chinese researcher discovered in 1972 as effective against malaria. Artemisinin is traditionally used in the East to treat Plasmodium falciparum, the parasite that causes malaria. Artemisinin is extracted from the plant sweet wormwood (Artemisia annua) or Qinghao.

Artemisinin:

Artemisinin also affects bitter substance receptors in the body in a way that resembles their response to bitter digestive substances. Normally, artemisinin has low bioavailability, but encapsulated in microscopic liposomes, the molecules are delivered directly into the cells. Availability increases if artemisinin is delivered liposomally, for example in emulsion.

The science behind the product:

Conventional supplements containing artemisinin have a short half-life and low bioavailability. When artemisinin is delivered in liposomal form, it has been shown to stay longer in the body. The liposomal spheres in which this ingredient is encapsulated are so small that they can bypass the cell membrane and release artemisinin directly inside the cells.

Instructions for use:

Take on an empty stomach at least 10 minutes before meals. Take 1 teaspoon 1-3 times a day or as directed by a healthcare professional. Can be taken undiluted directly in the mouth or mixed in water or juice (grapefruit is best). Store at room temperature and use within 2 years after opening.
