Fulvic acid – nature’s most perfect mineral blend?

How does fulvic acid work?
Fulvic acid has the ability to break down and dissolve other molecules and form new substances. In addition, it attracts (chelates) metals, which means that the substance can transform inorganic material so that the body can metabolize it and potentially eliminate it if it is a toxin. Complex fulvic acid absorbs and releases electrons and therefore acts as a catalyst for chemical processes in the body. Fulvic acid functions as an antioxidant and improves the body’s redox potential (a measure of how easily a substance donates or receives electrons), which among other things may increase the electrical potential of the cells. Such effects mean that a good fulvic acid often “carries with it” 70 or more minerals and trace elements, thereby making an important contribution to the body’s electrolyte and/or mineral balance.

Fulvic acid - an essential supplement
Pure - effective, affordable, 100% natural and inexpensive?
Fulvic acid and humic acid have a wealth of well-documented effects and are a supplement we recommend to all clients at the Clinic for Integrated Medicine, for good reason.
Unotrace humic acid and fulvic acid properties and effects
Contains both fulvic acid and humic acid, two acids found naturally in living soil that bind minerals. As a dietary supplement, these acids increase the absorption of minerals and nutrients in the intestine. Unotrace fulvic acid contains fulvic acid, humic acid, minerals, trace elements, and organic natural acids.
Effects of Unotrace humic/fulvic acid:
● Stimulates metabolism
● Stimulates the body’s enzyme production
● Improves the conversion of proteins, RNA synthesis, and increases the amount of DNA in the cells
● Contributes to better electrolyte balance
● Contributes to better electrochemical balance
● May increase the electrical potential in the cell membranes
● Chelates (binds) toxic materials and metals in the body so they can be eliminated
● May help rebuild a damaged immune system
● May counteract viruses and infections (antibacterial, antiviral, and antifungal properties)
● May counteract irritable and leaky gut and contributes to better gut flora
● May reduce stress and improve sleep
● Increases the absorption of vitamins and minerals from the intestine
● Enhances the effect of herbal teas and tinctures
● Contributes to better pH balance in the body
● May support better cognitive health and alleviate the condition of, among others, Alzheimer’s patients
● Reduces the occurrence of free radicals and counteracts inflammation and pain

In Helsemagasinet vitenskap og fornuft (vof.no), one can (among other things) read the following
Fulvic acid is a 100 percent natural acid formed in tiny quantities in old soil by millions of beneficial bacteria. It is extremely biologically active and binds (chelates) minerals from its surroundings. Fulvic acid usually binds more than 70 different minerals and trace elements. Because the molecules have very low weight (they are tiny), they pass 100 percent through the body's cell membranes. Fulvic acid reduces the surface tension of water, allowing water to penetrate more easily into and mix with organic molecules and dissolve them (contributing to better hydration of the cells). Adding fulvic acid to water helps molecules that are otherwise not water-soluble to be absorbed and used much more easily by living organisms. Fulvic acid has been shown to dissolve molecules 20 times better than pure water (without fulvic acid). It is an effective chelator and can also bind inorganic metals such as mercury and other metals.
Good hydration depends on mineral salts and electrolytes
Each cell is bathed in extracellular fluid (outside the cell) and intracellular fluid (inside the cell). Electrolytes are rapidly depleted through sweating, breathing, urination, bowel movements, and vomiting. It is important to note that ordinary water - purified, distilled, or reverse osmosis - does not supply trace minerals and electrolytes.
Electrolytes are crucial for the nervous system and muscle function, which includes the cell membrane, the heart muscle, and the brain. Almost all processes in the body function through electrical impulses (see the YouTube video with Jan Poleszynski about our electrical nature and the importance of good voltage across the cell membranes).
Unotrace fulvic acid is an organic acid trace mineral complex with low molecular weight, containing over seventy ionically charged major and trace mineral electrolytes with a good balance between sodium and potassium. Fulvic acid is 100% natural and contains a full spectrum of approximately 70 minerals and trace minerals, 33 naturally occurring organic acids including 18 amino acids, trace elements, electrolytes, plus more than twenty flavonoids (powerful antioxidant activity).

The body and brain need enough good water to function normally
Without water, an adult can survive for about three days. Water is important for so many different bodily functions and organs, including the brain. When the brain is not hydrated, brain cells are not able to function properly. Dehydration (too little fluid at the cellular level) makes the brain work harder than usual to perform a task. In addition, dehydration can lead to volume changes in the brain and the brain's cavities. It has been reported that between 17 and 28 percent of older adults are dehydrated, and this is also often a reason for hospital admission. Dehydration can cause illness and death in itself, and can also worsen a range of medical conditions. A lack of sufficient water in the body's cells and blood vessels can cause a variety of unpleasant symptoms, including dizziness, headache, fatigue, dry mouth, and constipation. Good clean water (a purified minimum is recommended and optimally with added hydrogen gas), with fulvic acid, is an effective way to supply water that the body can absorb at the cellular level.

Good reasons why fulvic acid (FA) is suitable in cosmetics
Phytochemicals are safe, effective, natural ingredients for healthy skin
Several scientific publications document the benefits of polyphenols, aka phytochemicals, for the treatment of acne and the maintenance of healthy, living skin. Dietary supplements containing polyphenols such as fulvic acid show a significant reduction in acne. It is a major advantage to use the product orally and also diluted in skincare products. Unotrace fulvic acid trace mineral complex contains an abundance of natural plant polyphenols that have a broad spectrum of biological properties. You can simply (provided that you have a 100% pure natural skincare product) add a couple of drops to a small package of cream or skin oil and mix. Examples of the effects of fulvic acid in skincare products.
Increased antioxidant activity with FA
Free radicals, also known as ROS (reactive oxygen species), negatively affect certain immunological processes and aging, as well as pathophysiological mechanisms that lead to inflammatory skin disorders.
FA has anti-inflammatory properties
Every day, our body is exposed to external factors that cause different types of cell damage, irritation, or allergies. The body's response is inflammation. These external irritants induce the secretion of signaling molecules, such as pro-inflammatory cytokines and interleukins, which leads to skin inflammation and swelling.
FA has antimicrobial and antibacterial effects
Phenolic compounds have powerful antifungal, antiviral, and antibacterial activity.
FA helps reduce sebum production
We have mentioned several ways polyphenols can reduce and help heal acne. One root cause is an overproduction of sebum, the natural oil produced by our glands.

Conclusion
Numerous studies have shown that the potent biological activity of polyphenols such as those present in fulvic acid has significant potential to inhibit acne.
