How does fulvic acid work?
Fulvic acid has the ability to divide, dissolve other molecules and form new substances. In addition, it attracts (chelates) metals, which means that the substance can convert inorganic material so that the body can convert it and possibly excrete it if it is a toxin. The complex fulvic acid takes up and releases electrons and therefore acts as a catalyst for chemical processes in the body. Fulvic acid acts as an antioxidant and improves the body's redox potential (a measure of how easily a substance gives up or receives electrons), which can, among other things, increase the cells' electrical potential. It is extremely biologically active and binds (chelates) minerals from the environment. Fulvic acid usually binds more than 70 different minerals and trace elements. Because the molecules have a very low weight (they are tiny), 100 percent penetrate the body's cell membranes.
