Akkermansia muciniphila is a next-generation postbiotic bacterium naturally present in the intestinal mucosa. Each capsule contains 30 billion pasteurized bacterial cells that preserve bioactive cell membranes and proteins that can contribute to the support of the intestinal flora, microbiome and intestinal barrier. Stable at room temperature and suitable together with probiotics.

Akkermansia muciniphila (pasteurized) – 30 billion cells per capsule

Akkermansia muciniphila capsules are an advanced postbiotic dietary supplement developed to support the intestinal flora, microbiome and intestinal barrier. Akkermansia muciniphila is a natural bacterium in the intestinal mucus layer and is among the most studied microorganisms in modern microbiome research. This product uses pasteurized Akkermansia muciniphila, where the bacteria's bioactive cell membranes and proteins are preserved after heat treatment. This postbiotic approach provides stability at room temperature and makes the product compatible with probiotics and other microbiome supplements. Each capsule contains 30 billion bacterial cells and represents a next-generation microbiome strategy for people who want advanced support for gut health, microbiota and digestive balance.

Akkermansia muciniphila is a naturally occurring bacterium in the human intestinal flora that lives in the mucus layer of the intestine. This dietary supplement contains 30 billion pasteurized Akkermansia muciniphila cells per capsule (3×10¹⁰ TFU). Pasteurization preserves the bacteria's cell membrane and bioactive structures, including membrane proteins such as Amuc_1100, which can interact with receptors in the intestinal wall even after heat treatment. The pasteurized form therefore functions as a so-called postbiotic – bioactive bacterial components without living microorganisms – and is stable at room temperature without the need for refrigeration. The product is produced in the Netherlands in an FSSC 22000-certified production facility and is supplied in vegetable capsules without gluten, lactose or artificial additives.

Health benefits
• Can help support a balanced composition of the intestinal microbiota as part of a varied diet
• Can help support normal function in the intestinal mucus barrier through bioactive cell membrane proteins
• Can contribute to favorable communication between intestinal bacterial components and immune cells in the intestinal mucosa
• Can help support normal metabolic regulation through interaction between intestinal flora and the host's metabolism
• Can be combined with probiotics without competition between live bacterial strains
• Stable at room temperature and suitable for daily use without the need for refrigeration
• Represents a new generation of postbiotic supplements where the effect is primarily linked to the bacteria's structure rather than viability
