Benefits and Properties of EldonCard® Doctors Kit
-
Simple and effective blood type detection: Eldoncard® uses an immunological method to identify antigens on the surface of red blood cells. The test requires only a small drop of blood from the finger, and the results can be read quickly and easily by means of the supplied reagent fields.
-
User -friendly and self -explanatory test: With Eldoncard® Doctors kit, you do not need specialized laboratory equipment or technical expertise to perform blood type determination. The simple process makes it easily accessible to anyone who needs this information, including those working in a demanding environment where quick access to blood type can be crucial.
-
Fully equipped set of 10 tests: The kit comes with all the necessary equipment to perform 10 blood type regulations, including sterile blood type cards, laminating foil, lance, cleanser, pipette, comb for blood drop transfer, as well as a result table and instructions in Danish. This makes it easy to perform the test and keep the result in the wallet or bag for easy access.
-
Long history and global use: Eldoncard® is a Danish innovation from 1954, and has been in use globally since 1959. Eldoncard® is approved by the FDA and used by medical institutions, blood banks, hospitals and NATO. The test set meets the strict requirements set by Paul-Ehrlich Institute in Germany.
How does Eldoncard® work?
Eldoncard® Doctors kit uses antibodies applied to four reagent fields: anti-A, anti-B, anti-D (RHD), and a control field. When a drop of blood is applied to each field, any antigens will react with the antibodies and create agglutination (clumping), which makes it easy to determine the blood type. The reaction is observed visually and the pattern that occurs on the card gives the user an accurate indication of their blood type and RHD status.
Operating instructions:
- Prepare the card by filling in personal information on Eldoncard®.
- Apply water on each of the four reagent fields.
- Take a blood test Using the accompanying lance and transfer a drop of blood to each field with Eldonstick.
- Stir gently in each field for 10 seconds to mix the blood with the reagents.
- Read the results by observing the agglutination and noting the blood type on the card. The blood type card can be laminated and stored in the bag.
Security and storage
Eldoncard® Doctors kit is intended for one -time use and should be kept out of reach of children. Each test kit is sterile and individually packed to ensure safe use. The results of the test should not be used as a basis for medical decisions without further confirmation from health care professionals. The test cards can be stored at temperatures between 5–37 ° C, and have a durability of up to two years when stored properly.
Conclusion
Eldoncard® Doctors kit provides a reliable, user -friendly and quick method for determining blood type, which can be critical for medical situations, first aid and personal security. With its long history and global use, Eldoncard® is a valuable tool for health professionals and individuals who want to have access to blood type information.
