PREVENTA® DEUTERIUM-DEPLETED DRINKING WATER
Preventa® is the best selling, most studied, and most trusted deuterium depleted drinking water in the Norway and the rest of the world. Nothing else even comes close! Our brand is consumed by thousands of health conscious people in more than 50 countries as a part of their nutritional support regimen as a substitute for their normal daily fluid intake.
Preventa for Athletes
The effect of deuterium depletion on physical performance has been investigated in sports medicine studies. The participants of the study conducted by the National Institute of Sports Medicine, members of the Hungarian national rowing team, consumed Preventa drinking water with 105 ppm deuterium content in the treated group and normal drinking water in the control group during the 44-day study, and were submitted to the usual ergometric loading tests. The results showed that the athletes who consumed Preventa with 105 ppm deuterium mastered the loading tests with better physiological parameters than those in the control group, who consumed normal drinking water and could compensate the metabolic effects of the load better. On effect of the reduced deuterium content, the tissues went into hypoxic state later, mobilization of glucose was improved, and lactic acid level increased more slowly. The test results and the athletes’ subjective experiences were in unison, that is, after consuming Preventa they showed better performance, regenerated faster, and had improved stamina. Preventa may thus be suitable for improving the performance of the organism in situations with increased physical load.
The Preventa Quality
Preventa deuterium-depleted drinking waters, protected by international trademarks, are premium bottled waters, their reliable quality is controlled and certified by accredited institutes and pharmaceutical-grade laboratories. The deuterium-concentration of Preventa deuterium-depleted drinking water products is measured according to verified measurement protocol with liquid water isotope laser analyzer, the pharmaceutical-grade microbiological purity is verified and certified by independent accredited pharmaceutical laboratory. The results of the measurements are recorded, retained and archived, therefore our products can be traced back for years. These records are available upon request. Preventa® is made of deuterium-depleted water and high-quality natural spring water, the product family is market leader among deuterium-depleted water products since 1999.
Frequently asked questions about Deuterium -reduced drinking water
What is Deuterium and Preventa Deuterium -reduced drinking water?
Deuterium, also known as heavy hydrogen, is a naturally stable-non-radioactive-variation of the hydrogen atom. The atomic nucleus of hydrogen consists only one proton, but the deuterium core contains one proton and one neutron. This mass difference causes significant differences in the physical and chemical properties of hydrogen and deuterium. Preventa, the world's first drinking water product family with reduced deuterium content, was developed on the basis of an international patent of Hyd LLC. Preventa Drinking Water was licensed by Budapest Veterinary Health and Food Control Station in 1999 based on expert opinion from Fodor József National Center for Public Health, Department of Environmental Health and the National Institute for Food and Nutrition Science.
Why should we drink the prevention deuterium -reduced water?
Research shows that it is a natural biological process when the cells reduce the level of deuterium. However, the body's ability to get rid of deuterium is reduced as we get older, sicker and get less exercise or sunlight. This natural system is the target of the procedure with deuterium reduction. By changing the deuterium level of drinking water below the natural level, the deuterium content in the body can be kept low even when the natural cell processes do not work the way you could. In the case of proper choices and continuous consumption, low deuterium levels in the organism can be maintained for long periods.
What is the recommended daily amount of deuterium -reduced water?
It is possible to cover the daily water intake (1.5–2 liters a day for an adult with average body weight) with deuterium -reduced water, which can be drank clean, but can also be added to taste, used for cooking or tea or coffee. It is important to minimize the intake of fluid with normal deuterium level (tap water, mineral water, soda, fruit juice and milk).
Which preventa water should you choose?
The lower the deuterium content is in a given preventa water, the longer it is from natural fountain, which contains 140-145 ppm in our climate zone. In case of proper choice and continuous consumption, deuterium reduction in the organism can be maintained for long periods.
How to lower the deuterium content in the body?
The simplest method of affecting the deuterium content in the body is to reduce the deuterium concentration of drinking water. By drinking water with lower than natural deuterium concentration, the deuterium content of the body will be reduced because the organism's normal water content will interfere with the deuterium -reduced water.
This can be supplemented with other deuterium -reduced foods - such as a deuterium -reduced fungal extract - because their organic molecules also have little deuterium. Supplementary use of plants grown under deuterium -reduced conditions or foods made by the former can contribute to more effective lowering of the deuterium content in the body. Deuterium -reduced foods represent a new product category, whose characteristic property is, like an analogy to low carbomat, the low deuterium content.
What are the specialties of the Preventa Deuterium-reduced drinking water? How is the deuterium content determined?
The deuterium content of the prevention drinking water is far lower than natural drinking water, and the degree of reduction is higher than the natural variety of deuterium level. The deuterium content in water is normally given in PPM (parts per million), which shows how many out of one million hydrogen atoms are deuterium, or how many of a million water molecules (H2O) is heavy water (d2O). Deuterium content can be measured by mass spectrometry and laser -based techniques.
What is the importance of numbers indicated on the preventa deuterium -reduced products? The figures specified in the names of the Preventa Drinking Water show Deuterium content in PPM. Consequently, Prepenta 125 contains 125 ppm, the Prepenta 105 contains 105 ppm, and the Preventa 85 contains 85 ppm deuterium. Typical concentration for fountains is 140-145 ppm in the lowlands. In the high mountains, the deuterium content is somewhat lower.
What are the natural global variations of deuterium content in rainfall? -about the deuterium content of the human body
Deuterium content in living organisms is mainly determined by seawater and rainfall. The deuterium level in precipitation decreases from the equator to the North and South Pole, from the oceans to the continents, and decreases with increasing height. The human body consists mainly of water, but the proportion of water is reduced by age. Considering that approx. 60% of the body is water, and organic compounds also contain deuterium, the concentration of deuterium in the human body is several times higher than the level of other physiologically important elements such as calcium, potassium or magnesium.
Which method is used to reduce the deuterium level in water?
Deuterium-reduced water is produced by an energy-intensive technology based on differences in the physical-chemical properties of normal water (H2O) and heavy water (d2O). Due to a boiling point difference of only 1.5 ° C, the concentration of heavy water (with higher boiling point) is lower in the steam phase, and this fact is used to produce deuterium -reduced water. By repeating evaporation several times in so -called distillation columns, the deuterium content in water can be reduced to any level.
Can you produce homemade deuterium -reduced water?
Using distillation of water, a 1 ppm reduction can be achieved with single distillation, or 2–3 ppm at double distillation, an insignificant change in the deuterium concentration. Significant reduction of the deuterium content can only be achieved by technology on an industrial scale, fractional distillation. Preventa products contain 15 to 84% less deuterium than our natural water.
Hyd LLC. For cancer research and drug development Was established in 1993 for development and worldwide marketing of drugs and consumer products primarily for the prevention and treatment of various types of cancer. This is based on deuterium reduction, which is an original approach to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in the body and to influence other physiological processes in a safe, non-invasive way, while the use of such water provides effective treatment.
All research and development, including drug registration and other product development, based on deuterium reduction technology, are managed, organized and financed solely by HYD LLC. Different applications of deuterium reduction are protected by international patents and patent applications in most industrial countries.
