ECLIPSE BLUE ZEBRA Outdoor Woman are blue light glasses for outdoor use, developed with CR-39 lenses and Fullerene C60 nanophotonic coating on both sides. The model is made for women who want to reduce exposure to UV light and short-wave blue light below 450 nm, while maintaining visual comfort, contrast and focus in bright daylight. The glasses are produced with patented Swiss technology from Bioptron AG and come with a 2-year warranty.

Compared to regular sunglasses that primarily dampen light, Hyperlight Optics have been developed to modify the passage of light. According to the manufacturer's technical specifications, parts of UV and blue light are transformed into wavelengths in the range of 450 to 780 nm, including green, yellow, orange and red spectrums. The aim is to reduce glare, reflexes and visual strain, while exposing the eye to a more balanced light environment.

  • Protects against UV light and high-energy blue light below 450 nm when used outdoors
  • CR-39 lenses with Fullerene C60 coating on both sides for advanced light filtering
  • 8 Ioncoat K+ layer in vacuum reduces reflection to less than 1%
  • Hydro- and oleophobic coating contributes to scratch protection, easier cleaning and antistatic effect
  • Light frame of 0.026 kg with dimensions 49 × 20 × 145 mm
  • Developed in Switzerland by Bioptron AG with a 2-year warranty

For many users, this is relevant in situations with a lot of sun, reflections and heightened visual stress, such as driving, walking, urban environments, the sea, mountains or outdoor dining. The model may also be relevant for people who experience eye fatigue, light sensitivity or reduced comfort in bright daylight. The blue zebra design combines a marked expression with a light construction suitable for daily use.

Hyperlight Optics is described by the manufacturer as more than a traditional light filter. The fullerene C60 layer is based on a nanomaterial with icosahedral symmetry, often linked to Fibonacci structures and the golden ratio in nature. When light passes through the filter, it is stated that the photons change orientation 18 billion times per second. This is referred to as hyperharmonized light in the manufacturer's documentation. The technology is related to research in light biology, photobiomodulation and nanophotonics, but the product is not intended as medical treatment.

The manufacturer refers to studies and patents that examine connections between light modification, visual processing, EEG signals, circadian rhythm and subjective comfort. This means that the glasses are often mentioned in connection with focus, mental balance, sleep and stress regulation. At the same time, the effect and experience will vary from person to person, and the glasses should be used in line with the manufacturer's guidelines.

Technical specifications: Model HE-0502BZ. Lens type CR-39 with Fullerene C60 nanophotonic coating. Dimensions 49 × 20 × 145 mm. Net weight 0.026 kg. Color and pattern in blue tones with zebra print. Coatings include Hard Coat, hydro- and oleophobic treatment and antistatic surface on both sides. Distribution takes place via Home Art & Sales Servis AG in Switzerland, with Uno Vita AS as Norwegian importer and distributor.

This is a relevant choice for those who want blue light glasses for outdoor use with documented material specifications, Swiss origin and advanced optical filter technology. Unlike standard sunglasses, the focus here is not just darker lenses, but controlled light modification for visual health, visual clarity and everyday comfort in sunny environments.
