SpectroLabo – Start-up and user manual & interpretation guide

Jan Fredrik Poleszynski |

🔬 Introduction

SpectroLabo is a groundbreaking technology that measures intracellular mineral levels, reveals trace elements and their balance, maps heavy metal burden, and evaluates oxidative stress.

The method is non-invasive, fast, and painless. Results are available immediately without blood or urine samples.

Uno Vita AS is the Norwegian importer and distributor, and offers 🛠️ registration and user support, 🎓 courses, mini-courses, and professional training, as well as 🧑⚕️ clinical experience from thousands of tests at the Clinic for Integrated Medicine in Moss.

💻 Installation and software

Download the latest version here: spectrolabo.com/en_US

For devices delivered in 2025 → choose SL3 beta

Compatible with both Windows and Mac OS

Standard installation folder Windows: C:\Program Files\SpectroLabo\

Standard installation folder Mac: /Applications/SpectroLabo.app

⚠️ Common errors: Missing msvcp140.dll or vcruntime140.dll → install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable

🔌 Connection: USB (automatically recognized)

✋ Preparation before testing

⚙️ Calibrate the device in the pedestal (the slot is retracted over the white surface)

💡 Use dim lighting, avoid strong side light or spotlights

✋ The hand should rest steadily on the surface, not over scars, spots, or veins

🧬 Always record age, gender, height, weight, and blood type (Eldoncard Doctors Kit recommended)

Age and weight limits: Standard is 14 years and 40 kg. Minimum is 10 years and 35 kg (a setting that Uno Vita can activate upon request, with reduced accuracy due to limited reference data for children).

📊 Conducting the test

  1. 👨‍💻 Log in to the software

  2. 🧾 Register patient data

  3. ✋ Place the hand steadily on the surface

  4. 🔥 Place the device against the skin

  5. ▶️ Press start, hold for 2–3 seconds per point (total of 3 points)

  6. 📈 The report is generated and saved automatically

Tip! Once you have registered a client, an image will appear where you can choose a standard test or a mini test. Before selecting one of them, the device should be in its holder and the laser should point down toward a white spot (there is a slot that protects the white field during transport, which you must slide back so the white field is visible). When you then select the test, the device will calibrate itself and display a hand. Then you simply perform the test as outlined.

📑 Report and results

The report provides an overview of:

🧱 Macro minerals: Ca, Mg, Na, K, P, S

🔬 Trace elements: Zn, Cu, I, Se, Mn, Cr, Mo, Co, B, Si, Li

☣️ Heavy metals: Pb, Hg, Cd, As, Al

⚡ Oxidative stress (balance between free radicals and antioxidants)

🔄 Important mineral ratios (Ca/Mg, Zn/Cu, Na/K, I/Se)

🧩 Interpretation guide

Rapid changes are seen for Na, K and Zn

Slow changes are seen for Mg, I and P

📉 Lack of changes may be due to: poor absorption, incorrect supplement form (for example magnesium oxide), a nutrient-poor diet, digestive problems or testing too frequently

⚡ Oxidative stress occurs when free radicals exceed the body’s antioxidant defenses

Exogenous factors: UV, tobacco, pesticides, pollution, unhealthy diet

Endogenous factors: inflammation, infection, immune deficiency, stress, aging

☣️ Heavy metals indicate burden, but are not diagnostic in themselves

🔄 Relationships between minerals and metals

✅ Synergies:
Iodine ↔ Selenium (thyroid function)

Calcium ↔ Magnesium (muscles and nerves)

Iron ↔ Copper (hemoglobin transport)

❌ Antagonists:
Zinc ↔ Copper

Calcium ↔ Iron

Sodium ↔ Potassium

Molybdenum ↔ Copper

☣️ Heavy metals displace minerals:
Lead ↔ Calcium (bone tissue)

Mercury ↔ Selenium (antioxidant defense)

Cadmium ↔ Zinc (kidneys and enzymes)

Arsenic ↔ Phosphorus (ATP energy)

Aluminum ↔ Magnesium/phosphate (the nervous system)

🏥 Clinical applications

SpectroLabo is used in:

🏥 Clinics for holistic health plans

🛍️ Health food stores for precise recommendations and increased sales

🏃 Sports for performance and recovery

👨👩👧 Families who want a simple and quick health check

✅ Practical tips for practitioners

🎁 Free 1 full test at startup

🧾 Free mini-tests can be converted into a full test

💰 Price per test: NOK 350 (VAT-exempt for authorized healthcare professionals)

📆 Recommended frequency: 1 test per year, more often during detox or an intensive program

🔄 Multiple tests on the same client can be compared directly

📂 OligoScan tests can still be used manually as PDF

🔬 Technology and science

SpectroLabo is based on spectrophotometry

📊 Quantitative analytical method that measures light absorption and reflection

🏥 Used in chemistry, pharmacy, the environment and clinical medicine

🔗 Validation studies show high correlation with laboratory data

🎯 Precision: under 1% deviation between measurements

🧾 In-depth insight: minerals, metals, and relationships

Mineral balance governs everything from nerve conduction to skeletal strength. Calcium and magnesium must be in balance for normal muscle function, while sodium and potassium are regulated inversely by hormones such as aldosterone. Iron and copper are mutually dependent for hemoglobin formation, and zinc and copper compete for absorption. Iodine and selenium work together in the thyroid gland, while heavy metals can displace essential minerals. Lead can replace calcium in bone tissue, mercury binds selenium, cadmium competes with zinc, arsenic can take the place of phosphorus in ATP, and aluminum can interfere with magnesium and phosphate in the nervous system.
