Through evolution, we have adapted to diffuse sunlight, including high-energy UV and other high-energy visible light, which helps keep us in constant high alert, always in "fight or flight mode" under permanent stress. Bioptron has developed a method to convert this type of light into a more beneficial light source for our body. There are protective layers on both sides of the lens. The glasses' lens also has a coating that is so-called hydro- and oleophobic, which means that it prevents scratches and extends the lifespan of the lens. The Hard Coat (HC) layer: is adjusted with a special layer that counteracts reflection and repels water (displaces moisture), which extends the life of the anti-reflection layer and provides extra protection against scratches.
