Through evolution, we have adapted to diffuse sunlight, including high-energy UV and other high-energy visible light, which helps keep us in constant high alert, always in "fight or flight mode" under permanent stress. Bioptron has developed a method to convert this type of light into a more beneficial light source for our body. Based on patented technology and scientific pilot studies, we can recommend using Hyperlight Eyewear® as a replacement for sunglasses, to block UV light and highly energetic blue sunlight. There are protective layers on both sides of the lens. The glasses' lens also has a coating that is so-called hydro- and oleophobic, which means that it prevents scratches and extends the lifespan of the lens. The coating is easy to clean, has an antistatic effect and "repels" dust particles on both sides of the lens.
The Hard Coat (HC) layer: is adjusted with a special layer that counteracts reflection and repels water (displaces moisture), which extends the life of the anti-reflection layer and provides extra protection against scratches.
