Uno Vita RB105 Red Light Therapy Belt

Uno Vita RB105 has been developed for those who want a portable and user-friendly solution for targeted use of red and near-infrared light. The belt combines light treatment with heat and vibration in one flexible unit that can be attached tightly to the body.

The wide light surface makes the belt particularly suitable around the lower back, stomach and hips, but it can also be used on other body areas where the shape and attachment of the belt provide good contact.

The control panel is integrated directly into the belt and provides access to light mode, pulse, heat, vibration and timer without the need for a separate controller.

660 nm red light and 850 nm near-infrared light

RB105 uses two widely used wavelengths in photobiomodulation:

660 nm red light is visible light and is particularly used against more superficial areas.

850 nm near-infrared light is invisible to the eye and has greater tissue penetration than visible red light.

The belt's 105 LED chips are distributed with approximately one 660 nm element and two 850 nm elements per LED chip, corresponding to a ratio of 1:2 between red and near-infrared light.

The manual describes these three light modes as red light, near-infrared light and combined full-spectrum PBM respectively.

Photobiomodulation and cellular energy

Red and near-infrared light is used in photobiomodulation, often abbreviated PBM. A central area of ​​research within PBM is how light affects light-sensitive processes in cells and mitochondria.

The mitochondria account for a large part of the cells' production of ATP, the body's most important cellular energy carrier. Photobiomodulation is investigated, among other things, for its influence on cellular energy metabolism, local circulation and normal tissue response.

RB105 has been developed as a wellness and recovery product and should not be considered a substitute for medical treatment.

The belt is equipped with 105 LED chips distributed over a light surface of approx. 560 × 180 mm.

The wide light surface contributes to even coverage over a relatively large area and makes the belt practical for, among other things:

Four pulse modes

The RB105 can be used with continuous or pulsating light.

F0 – continuous light

F1 – 10 Hz

F2 – 40 Hz

F3 – breathing mode with gradual pulsation

This makes it possible to vary the light delivery according to preference and usage situation.

Three heat levels

The belt has three integrated heat settings:

P1 – approx. 41 °C

P2 – approx. 52 °C

P3 – approx. 60 °C

The heating function can be used together with light and vibration or as part of a customized session.

Always start at the lowest level if you do not know the product beforehand. The highest temperatures can be experienced as very hot.

Adjustable vibration

The RB105 has four vibration settings:

L0 – vibration off

L1 – low

L2 – intermediate

L3 – high

The vibration can be combined with light and heat, which makes the belt suitable as part of a relaxing or recovery-oriented routine.

Hours of 10, 20 or 30 minutes

The timer can be set to:

20 minutes is the default setting at startup.

For new users, the manual recommends starting with a shorter period of use and first checking the skin's response.

Rechargeable 5000 mAh battery

The RB105 has a built-in 5000 mAh rechargeable battery. This makes the belt more flexible in use than models that must be continuously connected to electricity.

The manual states that the battery can provide more than six sessions of 20 minutes at P2 intensity per full charge. Stated charging time is approximately three hours.

The belt is charged via USB-C.

The manufacturer recommends that the device not be used while charging.

Default setting at startup

The default program at startup is:

660 + 850 nm

This means that the belt can be put into use quickly without all the settings having to be selected again each time.

Comfortable and flexible construction

The belt is made as a soft, flexible wrap with an adjustable Velcro fastener.

For the best possible light exposure, the manual recommends that the light surface be placed close to the skin.

The flexible construction makes the belt suitable both at home, in the office and when travelling.

Recommended use

Before first regular use, the manufacturer recommends a skin sensitivity test.

Place the inside of the belt against the skin.

Start the device.

Let the test run for about 10 minutes.

Discontinue immediately if the skin becomes visibly red, itchy or feels uncomfortably warm.

Wait at least six hours after the test and check the skin before further use.

The manual normally recommends a maximum of 20 minutes per session and no more than 40 minutes total use per area per day.

The manual shows a 5 V / 2 A adapter, but also states that an adapter is not necessarily included. Adapters should therefore not be stated as included until this has been confirmed for the delivery in question.

Important information

Avoid direct exposure of the eyes to the LED light.

Do not use the belt on open wounds or visibly irritated or inflamed skin.

Remove metal objects from the area if the heating function is used.

Keep the product out of the reach of children and animals.

The product must not be washed in a washing machine or immersed in water.

Discontinue use if you experience strong heat, skin irritation, dizziness, visual disturbances or other discomfort.

Cleaning

Wipe the control panel carefully with a soft, dry cloth.

According to the manual, the fabric surface can be cleaned carefully with 70% isopropanol and must dry completely before new use.

The product must not be submerged in water or machine washed.
