D-glucarate is an element found in grapefruit, apples, oranges, broccoli and Brussels sprouts. It supports the body’s detoxification system, called glucuronidation. Your body uses glucuronidation to make a large variety of substances more water-soluble, and, by extension, allow for their subsequent elimination through urine or faeces (via bile from the liver).
